Policy for www.ImmoWeb.com
As a leading Internet service provider, ImmoWeb is committed to
respecting the privacy of all our visitors to www.ImmoWeb.com.
Although we track the total number of visitors to each of our
sites in an aggregate form to allow us to update and improve our
sites, personally identifiable information is not extracted in
this process. We do not use "cookie" technology (where
our servers deposit special codes on a visitor's computer). If
a visitor enters our site from the site of one of ImmoWeb's partners,
our system will recognize the path the visitor has taken. Additionally,
if someone who is not a ImmoWeb Internet member tries to access
proprietary ImmoWeb Internet content and is redirected to www.ImmoWeb.com,
our system will recognize the path the visitor has taken.
ImmoWeb only collects personally identifiable data, such as names,
addresses, e-mail addresses, and the like, when voluntarily submitted
by a visitor who requests that ImmoWeb software be sent to him
or her, either through a download or through a land carrier. The
information we collect is used by us to follow up on these orders
and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
If you supply us with your postal address online you may receive
periodic mailings of our software.
ImmoWeb will respond to visitors who send us e-mail to particular
addresses, for example, regarding advertising, partnering, or
employment opportunities. ImmoWeb will use the information submitted
in those e-mails only to respond to the purpose specified by the
sender.
ImmoWeb does not sell or release any information gathered on www.ImmoWeb.com
to any third parties. All information gathered here will be used
only by ImmoWeb for internal marketing analysis and to improve
our products, services and websites.
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time by notifying
guests of the existence of a new privacy policy. This policy is
specific to this site. ImmoWeb members can read the privacy policies
for the ImmoWeb Internet and ImmoWeb Classic services by accessing
those policies directly through the Help or Member Centers on
each of those services.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS CONCERNING PRIVACY A
ImmoWeb asks that visitors providing us personally identifiable
information to be 18 years of age or older. However, ImmoWeb believes
that parents should supervise their children's online activities
and consider using parental control tools available from ImmoWeb,
online services and software manufacturers that help provide a
kid-friendly online environment. Please instruct your children
not to give us their name, address or e-mail address, sign up
to receive our software, or provide any other personal information
to anyone without your permission.
